Looking to explore your creativity without the mess? Welcome to Paint For Fun's Open Studio in Melbourne – a relaxed, self-paced creative space where you can paint, sculpt, sketch, and create at your own pace, without the need for structured instruction.

Come anytime during the advertised session hours. To ensure you have enough time to enjoy the experience, please arrive at least 60 minutes before the session ends. (Latest entry is 4 PM.) Walk-ins are welcome.

Bring the whole family along! Open Studio is family-friendly, making it a great activity for children and adults alike. There are no rules about what you create – just plenty of space to experiment, play, and express yourself.

Your $15 studio entry includes access to the creative space, acrylic paints, brushes, easels, aprons, palettes, and a range of shared studio resources. To create your artwork, simply choose your preferred creative activity and purchase the required materials from the studio:

• Acrylic Painting – Canvases from $4–$17 depending on size• Step-by-Step Paint & Sip Guides – $5 each (choose from 12 popular designs)• Watercolour Painting – 5 sheets of premium A4 watercolour paper for $8• Clay Sculpting – 500g of air-drying clay for $9

You'll also have access to creative extras including clay tools, stencils, sketching supplies, and art tutorial books to help spark inspiration.

Please note: To ensure a consistent and enjoyable experience for everyone, Open Studio uses in-house materials only. Your entry includes access to all paints, brushes, tools, and shared studio resources. To create your artwork, simply purchase a canvas, clay kit, or watercolour paper from the studio. Outside art materials are not permitted.

This is not a tutored class, so no formal instruction is provided. However, our friendly team is available to help you get set up and answer general questions about the materials and studio facilities.
