RSA Training via Zoom (VIC)
RSA Training is mandatory for licensees and staff selling, offering or serving liquor for general, on-premises, late night and packaged liquor licences in Victoria.
This online course applies to staff working where alcohol is sold or served, including hospitality, tourism and events venues, packaged liquor outlets, wineries, breweries and distilleries. Training covers recognising and professionally dealing with intoxicated customers and underage persons, creating safe and social venue environments, and understanding liquor licensing requirements so participants can be industry ready and confident.
Important Requirements
- Learners must be 16 years of age or over at course commencement.
- Students cannot use the LCV RSA certificate until they are 18 years old.
- The LCV RSA certificate is valid for three years, after which a free online RSA refresher must be completed before expiry.
- The enrolment form must be completed before certificates can be issued.
Course Structure
- Part 1: LCV-approved RSA course delivered via Zoom, taking approximately 6 hours.
- Part 2: Sexual Harassment and Assault: Recognise, Prevent and Respond module provided by Liquor Control Victoria, taking approximately 60 minutes.
- After successfully completing both components, students can download their RSA Certificate of Completion from the LCV Learning Hub.
Assessments
- Assessment 1: Online quiz questions, to be completed within 7 days of the session. A 100% passing score is required, with two attempts provided.
- Assessment 2: Three role plays completed in class and graded within 7 days of the session.
- Practical assessment grading may take up to 7 days from the session date.

- USI number to receive both RSA certificates; incorrect or missing USI details may delay certificate issue.
