Myo-Yin Class
Myo-Yin combines self-myofascial release techniques with the long-hold shapes of yin yoga to support the health of the body's connective tissue system.Using balls, blocks and other props, we'll work directly with fascia to encourage hydration, reduce adhesions, improve tissue glide and create space throughout the body.
Release techniques are combined by targeted yin postures, allowing tissues time to adapt and remodel under gentle, sustained load.
Fascia is the body's largest sensory organ, wrapping around and through every muscle, bone, nerve and organ. When healthy, it supports efficient movement, force transfer and mobility. When restricted, it can contribute to stiffness, tension and reduced range of motion.
This class is designed to help "de-frag" the body from the demands of modern life, repetitive movement patterns, intense training loads and prolonged sitting. Through a combination of release work, mobility and stillness, you'll support tissue health, joint function and whole-body resilience.
Suitable for circus artists, aerialists, active bodies, runners, desk-bound workers, and anyone interested in moving more freely.
