Introduction to Flowering Chinoiserie
Come and learn the centuries-old art of Flowering Chinoiserie, a European decorative style inspired by the opulence of East Asia that features bold, whimsical bird and botanical scenes featuring trailing branches and vibrant blossoms like peonies or magnolias.
In this brand new Friday morning class with resident artist Jolie Hutchings you will be guided through the process of designing a balanced chinoiserie composition, using age old transfer techniques, handmade stencils and multiple brush techniques with delicate colour palettes.

ADULTS, YOUTH AND CHILDREN’S CLASSES/WORKSHOPS ENROLMENT POLICY
- A deposit is required to secure your place and payment must be made in full to confirm your booking.
- Cancellation by Corban Estate Arts Centre entitles the participant to a FULL REFUND.
- Cancellation by participant up until 7 days before the workshop commences results in a transfer where possible OR full credit to be used within 6 months of cancellation date OR a full refund MINUS a 10% admin & booking fee.
- Cancellation by participant within 7 days of the workshop commencement date results in a transfer where possible OR full credit to be used within 6 months of cancellation date OR a full refund MINUS a 30% admin & booking fee.
- Cancellation by participant on or after the workshop commencement date results in NO refund given.
SPECIAL ENROLMENT POLICY FOR GLASS CASTING WORKSHOPS
- A deposit is required to secure your place and payment must be made in full to confirm your booking. Part Payment options are available at time of booking.
- Cancellation by Corban Estate Arts Centre entitles the participant to a FULL REFUND.
- Cancellation by participant up until 10 days before the workshop commences results in a full refund of amount paid MINUS a 10% admin & booking fee.
- Cancellation by participant within 10 days or on or after the workshop commencement date results in NO refund given. You may nominate someone else to take your place before the class starts.
