Watercolour Zines: Imaginary Worlds
Join visual artist Marina Grey these school holidays in our hands-on watercolour zine workshop designed for creative 8-13 year olds! Diving into the vibrant world of watercolour, we’ll learn the basics of its application, and use fun inkblot techniques to discover hidden characters and shapes. We’ll design an original imaginary world, paint unique characters, and write an accompanying text onto four A4 sheets.
To bring it all together, students will learn how to hand-sew their pages with a needle and thread into a custom16-page A5 booklet zine to take home. It’s the perfect blend of painting, storytelling, and bookbinding!

- A deposit is required to secure your place and payment must be made in full to confirm your booking.
- Cancellation by Corban Estate Arts Centre entitles the participant to a FULL REFUND.
- Cancellation by participant up until 7 days before the workshop commences results in a transfer where possible OR full credit to be used within 6 months of cancellation date OR a full refund MINUS a 10% admin & booking fee.
- Cancellation by participant within 7 days of the workshop commencement date results in a transfer where possible OR full credit to be used within 6 months of cancellation date OR a full refund MINUS a 30% admin & booking fee.
- Cancellation by participant on or after the workshop commencement date results in NO refund given.

- A deposit is required to secure your place and payment must be made in full to confirm your booking. Part Payment options are available at time of booking.
- Cancellation by Corban Estate Arts Centre entitles the participant to a FULL REFUND.
- Cancellation by participant up until 10 days before the workshop commences results in a full refund of amount paid MINUS a 10% admin & booking fee.
- Cancellation by participant within 10 days or on or after the workshop commencement date results in NO refund given. You may nominate someone else to take your place before the class starts.
