Whether you’ve been struggling to gain height or you’re ready to refine your technique, this hands-on workshop will give you the practical skills and confidence to throw taller forms with greater consistency, control and efficiency.

During this workshop, you'll explore:

• Preparing clay for larger forms
• Efficient centering techniques for increased volume
• Pulling taller walls with greater confidence and control
• Managing wall thickness and maintaining evenness
• Maintaining stability and preventing collapse
• Shaping and refinement tall cylinders and vessel forms

Duration: 4 hours
Experience: Intermediate to Advanced – Perfect for intermediate and advanced potters who already have a solid understanding of wheel throwing and are ready to challenge themselves by working at a larger scale.
Bring: An apron and towel
Wear: Comfortable clothing that can get dirty. Closed shoes are essential
Cost: $250 per person
Firing: Firing is not included as part of the workshop but can be arranged with Sarah on the day.
