• What drink classes are available?

  We offer a diverse range of drink classes including wine courses (Beginners, Advanced Red Wine, Introduction to Wine Four Week Course), gin masterclasses (Premium Gin MasterClass, Local Craft Gin Master Class), whisky classes (Introduction to Whisky, Australian Whisky Master Class), beer experiences (Brewery Masterclass & Lunch, Brewery Tour & Tasting), and specialized tastings (Champagne Challenge, Shiraz Challenge, Pinot Noir Challenge, Chardonnay Challenge). We also host wine dinners at partner venues like Scopri, Kenzan, and L'Hotel Gitan, plus fermentation workshops (Kombucha, Kimchi & Kombucha).

• How many wines are tasted in the premium challenge events?

  Our Challenge events feature blind tastings of multiple wines paired with supper. The Champagne Challenge includes 12 super premium Champagnes plus a 13th glass with supper ($199). The Shiraz Challenge features the iconic wine tasted blind against 11 other premium Shiraz and Syrah, plus a 13th glass ($159). The Chardonnay Challenge and Pinot Noir Challenge also each include 12 wines with supper included ($159 each).

• What is included in the Beginners Wine Class?

  The Beginners Wine Class is a single session covering wine fundamentals including sight, smell, taste, varietal characteristics, service, cellaring, and food and wine matching. Classes are limited to 10 participants and feature six of Australia's finest table wines with a strong food component. On completion, participants gain confidence when reading wine lists, entertaining friends, and purchasing fine wine.

• What does the Premium Gin MasterClass include?

  The Premium Gin MasterClass at Little Lon includes a G&T welcome drink, tasting of 4 hand-crafted gins with garnishes and paired tonic waters, a grazing of cheese and charcuterie boards, and one delicious cocktail of your choice. The class covers distilling methods including vapour infusion and maceration, the history of gin and genever, botanicals used, and the stories behind the gins inspired by characters from the heritage-listed cottage-turned distillery. Sessions are held Thursdays at 6:30pm and Saturdays at 3:00pm.

• What is the investment for the Introduction to Wine Four Week Course?

  The Introduction to Wine Four Week Course costs $259. Sessions run for four consecutive weeks on Tuesdays from 6:30pm to 8:30pm in the Cellars at Armadale Cellars. The course covers Champagne & Sparkling Wines, White Wines, Red Wines, and Dessert Wines along with Ageing and Cellaring principles across all facets of wine appreciation.

  Yes, gift vouchers are available for purchase for multiple classes including the One-Night Palate Trainer, Shiraz Challenge, Chardonnay Challenge, Pinot Noir Challenge, Understanding Burgundy, Introduction to Whisky, Introduction to Wine Four Week Course, RIEDEL Sensory Tasting, and others. Giftees can select 'Gift This Class' and redeem their voucher towards a date of their choice.
